HP media smart webcam not working on windows 8 interface!!!

I have the hp MS200 with the hp media smart webcam. After I updated to windows 8, the camera doesn`t work in on the iwndows 8 interface (camera app/skype app) but it does work in the windows 7 interface (skype for desktop). I want the camera to work for the windows 8 interface though since this is really annoying. Please help (ASAP)
